An artist on the road
Before I decided to adopt a nomadic lifestyle, I used to express myself on canvas — whose frame was becoming too restrictive. I wanted to paint bigger, leave my trace without having to store my artworks somewhere I’d have to return. I made my first mural painting in a farm in North Sweden, while crossing the country on foot from Est to West. Later I started to attend urban art festivals, and paint on larger scales.
Read moreMy works question the perception of an inaccessible world, altered by the bars of a real or mental prison. The represented elements – most often body parts mingling with phantasmagoric landscapes – are always partly hidden ; they are either covered by splashes doing away with their realistic aspect, or partly revealed through tears or holes. I also play a lot with contrasts, associating grayscale tones with strong and bright colors.
